Catering Assistant Canterbury
Part-Time/Term Time Only Post: 30 hours per week for 34 weeks
Salary: £17,079 pro rata per annum Ref: 19-AAAA1255K-0049-1
We are looking for an experienced person to join our friendly Catering Team in Canterbury. The Café is vibrant & busy throughout the academic year. Your job is to undertake general catering duties and to contribute to the University’s catering service to students and staff.
Your duties will include making baguettes, sandwiches for the sandwich bar, serving coffees, serving customers at the hot food counter and lay-up and delivering of hospitality for internal functions and events.
You will have excellent customer service skills and knowledge of cashiering, together with a good understanding of current licensing legislation. You will have attained CIEH Level 2 Food Hygiene to demonstrate your knowledge and experience of health and safety with regards to food preparation and hygiene within the workplace.
The pro rata salary for the position will be £10,521 per annum.
