Responsibilities
- Managing the finance and payroll of a multi-million pound turnover SME business.
- Ensuring all information held is accurate and up-to-date.
- Self sufficient and reporting directly to the board.
- Compiling financial reports for senior Directors including the monthly P&L.
- Ensuring tax returns are submitted on time, reporting to HMRC and liaising with them regularly.
- Responsible for accounts payable and dealing with payments.
- Governance of the corporate finances and responsibility for fraud prevention and compliance with tax, regulatory and corporate responsibility requirements.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience of working in a small to medium size business.
- Willing and capable to take responsibility for the entire finance of the company.
- Interacts confidently with external company accountants, high value clients and HMRC.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA accreditation or working towards this.
- Confident with the latest version of Quickbooks.
- Strong abilities with Microsoft office in particular Excel.
- Committed to personal development and skills.
GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 Dependent on experience and qualifications.
They are located in the beautiful grounds of Chenies Manor and have a working environment that is friendly, informal and highly productive.

This role carries significant responsibility and is new for the business, they will look to you to work with their CFO to set up their financial systems to succeed.
It is possible to get to them by public transport (1.1 miles from Chalfont & Latimer station) but travelling by car is preferential.
