An exciting opportunity has arisen with in the Neurological Rehabilitation Outpatient Department based at Walkergate Park. Specialist Care Group.

This is a development post progressing from Band 5 to Band 6 on completion of training and achieving competencies.

You will be required to work in a multi-disciplinary team providing the highest standard of care, supporting the Outpatient Clinics whilst developing skills to become a Dystonia Practitioner.

You will develop the competencies to be an autonomous practitioner in the assessment, treatment and administration of Botulinum Toxin injections for patients who have been diagnosed with Dystonia, working under a Patient Group Directive (PGD).

You will be responsible for management of your own case load of patients both in the Outpatient clinics and the community.

You will also provide support to the wider MDT within the Outpatient setting.

You will be well supported in your role by an experienced team of practitioners and have the opportunity to develop not only clinical but research skills.
