Senior Urban Designer / NCN Route Developer, North

GBP26,985 per annum
37.5 hours per week - based in Leeds
(with travel to other locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans).
This is a very exciting role if you have a relevant qualification in Urban Design, Landscape Architecture or an alternative, relevant and demonstrable specialism (e.g. collaborative cesign) along with experience of working on design projects with a significant level of community engagement.
You will be collaborating with colleagues and partners across a wide range of disciplines to deliver high quality innovative and technically competent design solutions that encourage walking and cycling as well as creating more pleasant places for people through infrastructure design and encouraging community engagement through outreach and events. In doing this you will be defining and implementing best practice; building skills and capacity across the organisation and more widely. You will also be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
