Working as part of the team at an Appointed Representative of St. James's Place Wealth Management Plc.
An excellent opportunity for a Technical Administrator to work alongside a highly professional Wealth Management team in Bishop's Stortford. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring clients' investment transactions are carried out accurately, assisting with meeting preparation and providing the advisers with technical information and reports.
The Practice works in partnership with St. James's Place Wealth Management Plc (SJP), a leading, and highly regarded, FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High Net Worth client base. SJP has funds under management in excess of GBP102 billion
The Role - Senior Administrator
You will be a senior point of contact, providing a high level of technical and administrative support to the team as well as maintaining an excellent level of client service to clients of.
You will be responsible for business submission using bespoke software. Due to the regulatory environment we work within you will need to ensure that new business and tasks are processed in a timely way.
Specific tasks will include:
* You will be transacting client investments and assisting with the preparation of presentations and documentation required for client meetings.
* You will be obtaining and maintaining detailed client information to support the advice team as well as ensuring supporting documentation and back office systems are maintained and all client files remain compliant.
* You will provide an efficient, friendly and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
* You will be providing a high level of technical and administrative support while maintaining an excellent level of customer service to clients of the Practice
* Preparing suitability letters and illustrations
* Managing cases to completion
* Collating client information
* Liaising with third parties daily

The Person - Senior Administrator
This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a 'can do' working style. Ideally, you are already working in Financial Services and have good all-round knowledge which you are looking to expand and develop.
You have excellent communication skills and are highly organised. You are a self-starter and able to work with little or no supervision.
It is essential that as a Senior Administrator you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion. A relevant financial services qualification such as the FPC or progress towards the Level 4 Diploma would be an advantage but is not essential.
Additional attributes we are looking for include:
* Some paraplanning report writing experience is preferred but not essential
* You understand regulations and products, and their practical application
* Strong knowledge of Word and other Microsoft office programs would be useful but not essential
* You have excellent English language and grammar skills and are able to communicate effectively
* You are highly organised, methodical and disciplined
* You are self-motivated
* Excellent customer service and the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships
* Strong attention to detail and be able to problem solve and think on your feet
* Good time management and planning skills
