Working as part of the team at an Appointed Representative of St. James's Place Wealth Management Plc.
An excellent opportunity for a Technical Administrator to work alongside a highly professional Wealth Management team in Bishop's Stortford. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring clients' investment transactions are carried out accurately, assisting with meeting preparation and providing the advisers with technical information and reports.
The Practice works in partnership with St. James's Place Wealth Management Plc (SJP), a leading, and highly regarded, FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High Net Worth client base. SJP has funds under management in excess of GBP102 billion
The Role - Technical Administrator
As a Technical Administrator you will be working for several busy Wealth Managers your role will include:
* Checking CFRs
* You will be transacting client investments and assisting with the preparation of presentations and documentation required for client meetings.
* You will be obtaining and maintaining detailed client information to support the advice team as well as ensuring supporting documentation and back office systems are maintained and all client files remain compliant.
* You will provide an efficient, friendly and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
* You will be providing a high level of technical and administrative support while maintaining an excellent level of customer service to clients of the Practice
* Due to the nature of the business, tasks must be completed within a timely manner
* Preparing suitability letters and illustrations
* Managing cases to completion
* Collating client information
* Working with internal processing systems. You will be given full training on the relevant IT systems
* Ensuring that the business obtained is being processed compliantly and in a timely manner.
* Liaising with third parties on a daily basis.
There is scope for progression within this role and study support is offered.
The Person - Technical Administrator
* You will be working towards your DipPFS qualification, or intending to start your studies imminently
* You will need to have some previous experience within a Wealth Management firm or IFA practice
* Some paraplanning report writing experience is preferred but not essential
* You understand regulations and products, and their practical application
* Strong knowledge of Word and other Microsoft office programs would be useful but not essential
* You have excellent English language and grammar skills and are able to communicate effectively
* You are highly organised, methodical and disciplined
* You are self-motivated
* Excellent customer service and the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships
* Strong attention to detail and be able to problem solve and think on your feet
* Good time management and planning skills
* You will have contact with clients, and it is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.
