Student Liaison Officer (Tackling Inactivity and Sports Maker). Student Services. Full Time. Term Time Only (40 weeks per year). Permanent.

An exciting role has arisen for an innovative and enthusiastic individual with a passion for sport to join our existing team. The purpose of the role is to organise, facilitate and evaluate an annual programme of sport and fitness activities for our students. This will entail leading an ambitious sports development programme aimed at increasing participation in sport related activity across all three campuses to include; enrichment, intra-college sport, community sport and creating a Student Management Team.

Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are key factors of this role along with excellent communication skills in order to foster positive relationships internally and with external partnership networks.

You will hold a Level 3 qualification in sport or above, an NGB coaching award and ideally a fitness based qualification along with a minimum Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent). You will also have previous experience of working with young people with a range of abilities in a sports based environment.
