Our client is a global leader in glass manufacturing in three business areas: Architectural, Automotive and Technical Glass.
Their mission is to be the global leader in innovative high-performance glass and glazing solutions, working safely and ethically.
The successful Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for managing the Group-wide Learning and Development activities supporting our Strategic Business Units and regional HR teams.
Working with these teams to identify and provide global learning and development solutions including; regional/global leadership programmes, developing content and facilitating training, you will build relationships with key stakeholders across the business and with their external suppliers; engaging in benchmarking existing practices and identifying and introducing new approaches ensuring their development portfolio remains current with the global trends in learning.
Some travel across the group will be required and the role holder is required to work overseas/away from home for periods of time.
Trained to Level A and B in Psychometrics and with a strong interest in the development of people and the organisation as a whole, candidates must possess strong, well developed communication and interpersonal skills and ideally hold a Learning & Development qualification.
A full UK driving licence and car ownership are required due to limited public transport to the site.
