About the role
The main purpose of this role is as follows:
Lead, motivate and develop a team of Data Planners to deliver against complex business objectives, focussing on maximising the potential of the team to create high quality data-driven campaigns for Save the Children.
Take responsibility for on time and on specification final delivery of campaign data, supporting the team directly where needed to ensure that stakeholder requirements are met.
Role model best practice approach to internal stakeholder engagement, providing constructive advice on how to use our data to drive successful and efficient marketing campaigns.
Act as a leader in your field of expertise, building both external and internal contacts to help take a strategic view of data-driven campaign planning.
About you
You will have a passion for data and be looking to fast-track your experience working with data and technologies in an exciting and challenging role that is central to the success of SCUK.
To succeed you will be capable of demonstrating:
Extensive experience using data to drive optimisation of Direct and Digital Marketing campaigns throughout all campaign lifecycle stages, i.e., planning, delivery and reporting.
Excellent managerial skills, including the management of direct reports, and prioritisation and coordination of team workloads in a fast-paced working environment.
Experience account managing multiple internal client marketing teams, including the scheduling and delivery of multiple campaigns, projects and programmes.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Experience of Adobe Campaign Manager or similar marketing automation tool.
Knowledge of Apteco FastStats, SQL and CARE NG world be advantageous.
Evidence of knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data and fundraising regulations would be advantageous.
