Our client, a well-established not for profit organisation, is currently recruiting for a home-based Interim Operations Director to oversee their Scottish service.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a customer focused organisation, with an ethos of providing quality support to end users. The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis, and the rate is negotiable based on experience.
The ideal candidate must have experience of working within the social care sector and recent experience in senior management and budgeting, with the ability to analyse and mitigate business risks.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
* Responsibility for the overall performance of the organisation
* Identifying opportunities to improve organisational performance with a commitment to continuous improvement
* Developing the identity and culture of the organisation whilst working within the Group strategy
* Applying comprehensive knowledge of financial, commercial and cultural issues at a strategic level
* Identifying, planning and implementing change management and further managing change in a growing/scaling business and operations
* Undertaking advanced operational and contingency planning
* Proactively networking and further utilising these networks for effective business development
Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Expertise required:
* Knowledge of the Learning disability sector
* Experience in management and budgeting
* Skills and ability to analyse and manage risks.
