We currently have a vacancy for a Hostel Worker
SALARY: £17,677 - £18,240
37.5 hours per week 3 x 12.5 hour shift
We are seeking to appoint a Hostel Worker for our 31 bed emergency hostel in Newcastle. You will be part of team who assist homeless and vulnerable men and women to move forward with their lives.
The role will be to support people with complex needs in applying for benefits, mentoring them with life skills, signposting to other appropriate services and assisting with housing applications, helping them through the housing pathway. Duties will also include the day to day running of the hostel.
This is a great opportunity to be at the forefront of homeless services in Newcastle and make a real difference to peoples lives
The role requires the ability to work both day and nightshifts including weekends and public holidays on a rotational shift pattern
