About us

At Together Trust we believe everybody deserves an equal chance in life. There are no exceptions. We provide a wide range of support services including fostering, residential, community and family support. We also provide specialist educational support at our schools and college.

Bridge College in Openshaw, Manchester, is a non-residential specialist further education college. We meet the needs of students up to the age of 25 years with learning difficulties and disabilities, complex needs, communication disorders and autism.

As our lead physiotherapist…

You’ll guide and lead the physiotherapy team to ensure delivery of high-quality physiotherapy to students. This will take place through person-centred assessment of the therapeutic and equipment needs of students, and delivery of regular training to the teaching and support staff team.  Managing a caseload of students and being a source of clinical expertise you will determine, monitor and oversee the nature and frequency of physiotherapy input and work closely with other staff, including tutors and support staff, to ensure that therapy interventions are embedded within all aspects of the college’s delivery.

About you

We’re looking for a qualified physiotherapist who has significant post-qualification experience. Registered with the Health Care Professionals Council, you will be able to manage your own case load and successfully lead a team of physiotherapists. You’ll have exceptional communication skills, a flexible and co-operative approach and the ability to work with young people and adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities and autism spectrum conditions.
