Team Leader for Distance and Community Learning. Full Time. Permanent.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader within the Re-engagement department. This is a new role within the department and will involve co-ordinating and managing an administration team of 5-6 people delivering both distance and community learning at Freemen’s Park Campus.

The successful applicant will need to be qualified to at least a level 3 (or equivalent) with a team leading qualification at level 3 or equivalent experience. You will need to have significant experience of working within a customer service environment including enquiry handling and resolution, particularly via face to face and using multi-media.  You will have recent and applicable administrative experience, including excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative.  The ability to work accurately within a busy team, be able to meet tight deadlines, accurate checking of data and data entry will also be an important part of this role. Experience of distance learning would be an advantage.

Applicants need to have a minimum Level 2 qualification in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent).  Applicants should also have experience of using Microsoft packages, knowledge of EBS Shape, Sharepoint and the registration and claims process.  You will required to work flexibly and on occasion at different locations.

The successful candidate must be able to work: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm or 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
