Bridge College in Openshaw, Manchester, is a non-residential specialist further education college. We meet the needs of students up to the age of 25 years with learning difficulties and disabilities, complex needs, communication disorders and autism. 

A wonderful opportunity has arisen at Bridge for an inspirational and passionate part-time catering and hospitality tutor to work with students who have a special interest in this sector.

 

As our catering and hospitality tutor…

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of an innovative and progressive curriculum in an enterprise setting. Our class sizes are small allowing you to provide personalised education plans and outcomes for each student. You will also have access to incredible resources including an extensive range of communication systems and technology. You will get to work closely with an expert therapy team to create the best personalised plan for each student, all of which is supported by our dedicated team of support workers.

About you

PGCE/PGDE educated and with experience of delivering education in a specialist setting. You will be forward thinking and a passionate leader, ensuring effective management of support staff in your classroom. Most importantly you will be driven by wanting to make a difference to those who need it most.
