They are now looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to support the smooth running of their warehouse operations in Chesterfield.

The Role 

As the Warehouse Team Leader, you will oversee a team to support the smooth running of our client’s Warehouse function. 

Ensuring that all tasks are completed in-line with Health & Safety requirements, you will: 

- Brief your team at the start of each shift 
- Direct daily activities and facilitate a safe, clean and fair work environment 
- Pick and pack orders and load trucks 
- Identify and report any incidents, damages or discrepancies 
- Review Driver’s collections notes  

Please note, this role will involve lifting and carrying heavy items. 

About You 

To be considered as a Warehouse Team Leader, you will need: 

- Experience of providing pre and post-shift handovers out of shift times 
- Excellent leadership, motivation and planning skills 
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements 
- Strong numerical skills 
- Great interpersonal and communication skills 
- The flexibility to work shift patterns 

Ideally, you’ll have an RTITB Ailsemaster (Pivot Steer) FLT licence, but this isn’t essential. Knowledge of the pipeline industry and export processes would also be an advantage. 

Other companies may call this role Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor, Distribution Team Leader, Logistics Team Leader, Distribution Supervisor, Senior Logistics Operative or Senior Warehouse Operative. 

This is a full time role, working rotating shifts of mornings and afters.
