Our client is a leading provider of outsourced claims handling services to insurance companies and brokers operating in the motorcycle sector. Featured in the Sunday Times Fast-track 100 of the Fastest Growing Privately Owned Companies in the UK, they continue to experience substantial growth. 

Currently, they are looking for a number of Claims / Recoveries Handlers with varying levels of experience to join their vibrant and expanding team in Egham.

As a Claims / Recoveries Handler, you will provide a high-quality service to customers using our client’s insurance services. 

Managing your own caseload, you’ll liaise with insurance companies, third parties and legal partners, collate documentation and evidence to support the claim and work towards agreed recovery targets. 

Specifically, you will: 

- Handle claims relating to the recovery of credit hire and storage and recovery invoices 
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide them with claim updates 
- Negotiate liability and quantum with third party representatives 
- Accurately record information on our client’s claim management system 
- Manage relationships with solicitors 

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need: 

- Experience in a credit hire claims handling role 
- Knowledge of the motorcycle and/or automotive industry 
- A good understanding of the ABI GTA, RTA liability case law and credit hire case law 

As a Claims / Recoveries Handler, you’ll have a confident telephone manner, as well as great written and verbal communication skills. Enthusiastic and eager to help, you’ll also be an excellent negotiator with a keen eye for detail.
