A fantastic opportunity is available for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join a leading supplier to the meat, processing and retail butchery industry. Based in Newport, the successful HGV Class 2 Driver will earn 9.50 per hour.
When it comes to logistics this company are experts. Operating from 12 strategically located distribution sites they keep the UKs meat market moving. They are known for the quality of their service and develop their employees to the same high standard. As a HGV Class 2 Driver your main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Delivering food products across South Wales and the surrounding areas
- Driving 7.5t and 3.5t vehicles as well as rigids as required by the business
- Recording delivery notes, returns paperwork and driver's daily paperwork.
- Cash handling
- Assisting in the depot and warehouse where required
To be considered for this HGV Class 2 Driver role, you must be motivated and enthusiastic with attention to detail. The company are especially interested in speaking to candidates with Multi-drop experience/working with chilled and frozen foods, however this is not essential. In addition, the following key skills are essential
- Good verbal and written communication
- Smart appearance
- Valid CPC card
- Class 2 licence
- Clean driving licence
