Salary - GBP32,000 - GBP36,000

Award winning manufacturer who are continuing to expand require an experienced quality engineer with high levels of quality engineering experience managing quality systems and ISO9001 compliance working days shifts based near to Derby.

As Quality Engineer you will;

• Lead continuous improvement with supplier quality

• Hands on quality engineering supporting the shop floor, leading quality engineering activities for implementing and reviewing quality systems and procedures

• Extensive experience in managing a quality system, in particular ISO9001 compliance

• Shop floor experience, preferably trained

• Good problem solving skills and facilitation

• Ability to measure and read with accuracy hand held gauges and tools, such as depth micrometres, inter bore micrometres and external micrometres

• Experience with calibration systems including the measuring gauges

• CMM programming and operating experience

Qualifications and experience;

• HNC or above in Mechanical Engineering and relevant experience

• Experience with in a similar quality engineering role

• Extensive experience managing a quality systems preferably ISO9001

• Shop floor experience, preferable apprentice trained

• Ability to measure and read with accuracy hand held gauges and tools, such as depth micrometres, internal bore micrometres and external micrometres
