Temporary ongoing HGV 2 / Class 2 HIAB work in the Burton on Trent and Derby area,
Typically, you'll be completing up to 5 Class 2 Hiab deliveries a day in the local area.
The working environment is extremely professional and operates with the utmost respect towards its Class 2 Hiab drivers. Although there are schedules that need to be met our client does not want "rushed" they want "pace and urgency" delivered by a Class 2 Hiab professional. As a result there is a strong possibility of the role becoming permanent.
You will be extremely confident in the following:
* Completing vehicle checks and defect sheets.
* Ability to work to deadlines
* HGV 2 HIAB deliveries to building sites and 'trades' locations
* 1 - 5 class 2 HIAB deliveries per shift
* Adhering to the company Health & Safety rules and regulations at all times
We are looking for HGV Class 2 / Cat C Hiab drivers who:
* are professional in appearance and manner
* have excellent communication/ customer service skills
* have previous HGV HIAB driving experience
* the ability to use a digital and analogue tachograph
* have a current valid full driving licence for HGV 2 / Class 2 / HIAB
* have Full valid CPC certificate
* do not have more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
* have comprehensive understanding of driver's hours legislation and RT(WT)R
