We are recruiting for a Bristol based firm who are looking for a Payroll Support Analyst. Purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and consistently high quality application support service to their contracted customers who use their payroll technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work within the Application Services team to provide advice, guidance and incident resolution to customers in a professional, customer-centric manner.
  • Incident resolution through product knowledge, analysis of HR and Payroll transactional processes.
  • Responsible for providing remote support to some of the customers.
  • To ensure that the customer is fully updated with progression and resolution detail.
  • Identify trends, look for root cause and propose functional software solutions.
  • Ensure client incidents are resolved and system fixes are addressed within Service Level Targets (SLTs).
  • Build rapport and strong channels of communication with both internal and external customers and colleagues to ensure a positive experience of Application Services.
  • Listen actively to customers using knowledge and experience to establish relevant details of customer queries.
  • Identify and manage implications of new software releases and brief functional lead and team on content.

Skills and experience

Essential

  • Experience of working in an HR and/or Payroll environment using computer applications
  • Understanding how any HR/Payroll software transacts and assists a business
  • Have excellent communication skills, telephone manner and problem solving skills.
  • Desire and demonstrable ability to self-learn fast and decipher complexities

Desirable

  • Experience in a similar HR/Payroll systems analysis role.
  • Experience in querying a database or analysing payroll processes and data
  • Experience and demonstrable understanding of a Support Service framework
