Management Accountant

Rutherford Briant are exclusively recruiting for a Management Accountant in Braintree. The role is with a growing group of companies which consists of various businesses providing goods and services to many industries. They manufacture, import and provide products Group-wide in a fast changing and dynamic sector. As the Management Accountant you will be a proactive member of a dynamic finance team providing financial support to a sample of group companies. To produce management packs, financial analysis and advise on process within those entities.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a finance assistant
• Trial Balance production with Month end reporting
• Audit file preparation
• Advise on system and process changes
• VAT Returns and Stat filings including EC Sales and Intrastats.
• Cashflow
• Intercompany reconciliations

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (or finalist) with at least 3 years' experience within a finance role. Someone looking for a first move out of practice would also be considered. Due to the growth plans of the business this would suit someone looking to progress their career who wants to continually take on more responsibility.
