An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Humanities Faculty.  The Philosophy A Level courses offer students the opportunity to explore a range of philosophical issues and methods and to develop skills of critical analysis, reasoning and problem solving.  We have cohorts of around 40 students at A2 and 45 students at AS level and we also offer Philosophy on the International Baccalaureate.  Our student body is motivated and lively, with an active student-led Philosophy Society and good participation in trips, visits and visiting speakers which are offered to students throughout the year.  The post is anticipated to be for a minimum of 4-5 hours per week in term time with the potential to be extended for a candidate with a proven track record of teaching another level 3 course offered by the Faculty.
