We presently have exciting opportunities within our Engineering Design Service for a number of Civil Engineers.

Our Engineering team is one of the many vibrant services that keep the authority running; making sure that Powys is a great place to work, live and visit. On a daily basis our Engineers and Technicians develop new improvement schemes and maintain the existing infrastructure across a wide range of areas such as roads, bridges, schools, housing and leisure.

We're looking for talented, ambitious and enthusiastic individuals who work well as part of a team. You'll need a good academic track record, excellent organisational skills, demonstrate a sound working knowledge, have great communication skills and be able to work on a wide variety of tasks.

If you're not already professionally qualified, then as a member of the team you'd also have the opportunity to join our Institution of Civil Engineers Company Approved Training Scheme which will assist you with any aspirations towards achieving industry recognised Professional Qualifications.
