Driver Opportunities (Class B, C1 and C)

45 hours per week

Our Client is an international multi-service provider, offering textile, hygiene and facility services solutions. Present in Europe and Latin America, they are a leader in most of the 28 countries in which they operate, employing 45,000 professionals at 440 production and services centres; this is a great opportunity to join a company that supports their people!

They currently have a number of driver opportunities available for Class B, C1 and C based from their Birmingham depot where you will work on the workwear contract, the duties they have include morning and afternoons shifts also covering sickness and holidays.

With knowledge of Drivers hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph compliance and experience of carrying out safety checks, vehicle defect reports, time sheets and fuel logs, you will be the last point of call between our Client and their customers and so you must be customer focused and flexible in your working hours.

In return they offer excellent rates of pay and can provide a set rota and shift pattern (for some routes), although flexibility and the ability to work overtime is preferred. 

All that they ask is that you hold a Class B, C1 and C licence, hold a DCPC card and ideally have some driving and laundry experience although not essential.  Please note that the job is of a physical nature delivering and collecting cages of linen, this sometimes may involve some bag work and you will be expected to pass our in-house driver assessment upon appointment.
