New Product Development Manager
Jackson Hogg is delighted to be recruiting for a New Product Development Manager for our client based in the Country Durham area.
The role will be to provide high-level technical expertise and leadership in order to drive the development of new products and associated processes for electronics, developing business-unit level knowledge and practice.
The Product Development Manager acts as a credible expert for the organisation, drawing upon a broad range of technical know-how to provide technical expertise and advice to clients and other stakeholders to shape their ideas, defining concepts and targets to develop their products towards commercialisation.
Key responsibilities:
* To make recommendations to clients on the design and scope of present and future products by reviewing specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or changes and defining product details for the Engineering team to build.
* To develop and implement a New Product Introduction Process in order to meet and exceed client expectations
* To provide advice and guidance to lead and drive discussions with clients and external partners to set vision and concept, and agree targets for new product developments
The ideal candidate will ideally be degree educated in Electronics / Electrical Engineering and have a solid background within NPI / NPD processes
