Reports to: Electricity Operations Manager

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm (with flexible working hours)

Main purpose of the role:

You will work alongside the Electricity Operations team to ensure we resolve and manage issues relating to meter reads, metering faults and industry data flows. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to communicate with internal departments and third parties.

• Manage all inbound industry operations enquiries from internal teams
• Responsible for engaging with third parties to ensure timely resolution of enquiries
• Investigate missing data flows and exceptions
• Take ownership of metering queries and activities regarding exchanges, faults and emergencies
• Monitor and rectify failed meter read appointments and site visit reports
• Resolve erroneous meter reads
• Arrange for de-energisation / disconnection where required
• Responsible for ensuring supplies are being billed
• Work alongside the team to come up with new ideas and process improvements

Skills and experience required:

• Excellent communication skills
• Hard working and driven
• Must be a fast learner to understand and comply with regulations
• Be able to work by yourself as well as part of a team
• Computer literate
• Experience in the energy sector is preferable but not required
