OPERATIONS MANAGER - MERSEYSIDE - GBP60,000 to GBP70,000 PLUS BENEFITS
A leading manufacturing organisation are looking for an Operations Manager to join their manufacturing facility in Merseyside on a permanent basis.
The Operations Manager will drive the organisations performance through the sites agreed performance standards and oversee the day to day running of all manufacturing operations within the factory, driving continuous improvement across the site using WCM/ Lean Manufacturing principles. As a key figure within the organisation you will demonstrate continuous improvement and a LEAN approach and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders. In addition to this you will drive the delivery and execution, being accountable for cost you will be analysing data to create project and improvement plans within a FMCG environment.
To be considered for this role you will have experience of managing large manufacturing teams and proven experience with budget control. You will also have used structure Problem Solving Techniques such as LEAN and Six Sigma is desired and the ability to implement workforce planning strategies and organisational design. Candidates will have sustainable experience working in an FMCG, Food, Beverage, Bakery, Dairy, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing environment.
The role for Operations Manager may be suitable for candidates who have held positions such as Factory Manager, Plant Manager, Ops Manager or Site Manager.
