Mechanical Electrician/Electrical Craftsperson.
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Electrician to join our client based in Exeter. In this role you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of a efficient, responsive and effective services provided to the establishment.
About the role.
This role needs someone who has training and experience as a Electrician. Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with the latest IEE certificate. In your role you will need you to have the ability to install, maintain and repair electrical services, plant and equipment. After suitable in-house training you will need to be able to take part in an out of hours on call rota.
Your duties will include;
Routine fault finding, testing, manufacturing, replacing, isolation, modifying, inspecting, improving, installing, maintaining and repairing of mechanical/electrical services.
Following and adhering to Health and Safety in the Work place, Fire procedures, Manual Handling, Health and Safety at Work Act, Control of Legionella, WRAS, Control of Infection and adhere to Engineering standards.
Proficient in safe use of machine and tools.
About you.
In depth and continuing experience working in a mechanical/electrical environment. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
IEE certificate. (Latest Edition)
Computer literate on building management systems and software.
Muilti-Skilled Craftsperson.
Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability and desire to learn new skills.
Ability to travel between sites as needed.
Undertake out of hours working when required.
The package.
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
GBP9.31 per hour.
On call premium & unsociable hours enhancement.
This role is a temporary minimum 12 weeks, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
