QC Technician

Red Eagle Recruitment (AGY) is looking to recruit an On-line QC Operative for our client, a well-established fresh produce supplier, in Kent.

Main Job Purpose:

To ensure safe, efficient and accurate procedures are followed & the quality of the produce meets all customer specifications.

Key Duties:

• To work in a safe manner.
• To work with the Line Leader and Line Operatives to maintain the quality of the product
• To check that the product is to customer specifications
• To complete the paperwork on the line
• To adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• To check and sign off the labels and packaging.
• To take sample for Shelf life.
• To identify the different varieties of product and recognize and report the defects.
• To undertake any other tasks as reasonably requested by the head of QA /QC.

Experience:

• Computer Literate
• Good IT skills mainly (Excel, Word & Outlook e-mails)
