Credit Controller

Ellisknight are working exclusively with a growing client in Theale who are based on a fantastic business park with a vast amount of facilities and ample parking.
Our client specialises in the collection of debts on behalf of companies who produce bespoke reports.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your existing credit control experience and be part of a friendly team, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the debtor's ledger.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the accounts that are allocated to them and to reduce the aged debt position. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in ad-hoc projects and support our growing customer network on any other projects.
Main duties

• Daily chasing of aged debt, primarily by telephone
• Agreeing payment plans
• Issuing Letters Before Action
• Account reconciliation
• Investigating unallocated cash receipts
• Issuing sales invoices and credit notes
• Issuing monthly statements
• Responding to emails and any other ad-hoc queries
• Basic bookkeeping tasks
• Monthly management reporting and analysis
• Intermediate excel skills (Pivot table's, V look-up)
• The ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
