Our client is a market leading housing provider, currently they are recruiting for an Income Officer/Credit Controller, the key objective of this post is to maximise income for the organisation through the provision of a proactive, leading edge service to customers and staff.
The post is full time, 35 hours per week between Monday to Friday and is a permanent role with flexible hours.
Duties will include:
* Responsible for chasing outstanding debt/rent arrears from customers/tenants via telephone
* Create payment plans to maximise income for the organisation whilst ensuring sustainable repayment arrangements for our customers
* Liaise with external agencies to resolve account queries and provide relevant information
* Responsible for rent collection on a patch basis by targeting accounts in areas where arrears are increasing including shared owners and leaseholder accounts
* Built and maintain strong links and working relationships with external partners, such as CAB's, Credit Unions, Housing Benefits Departments, the DWP and banks
