Our client is a market leading global manufacturer and are working closely with Perpetual Partnerships to recruit a career-focused Project Manager in the NPD team.
Our client provides a wide range of manufacturing solutions for Commercial, Education, Healthcare and Retail applications and are continually growing through the development of exciting new products.
This is a key appointment tasked with planning, prioritising and communicating bespoke project design and acting as a central point of contact, liaising and coordinating all internal and external NPD project activities.
You will be responsible for managing where all NPD projects are up to (14-15 at a time), prioritising workloads and key timescales, as well as building internal relationships and dealing with repeat project delay issues. You will also be planning and prioritising key project events such as design briefs and process meetings, design team's production samples and key information requests.
As an effective project manager, ideal skills and qualities include:

A passion and desire for achieving project deadlines under pressure.

Excellent project planning, prioritising and communication, together with an excellent attention to detail.

Ownership and delivery of NPD projects with an ability to influence and challenge key internal stakeholders.
The role is both diverse and challenging and the ideal background includes:

Being a hands-on engineering or manufacturing project manager with a hands on, as well as analytical approach.
*
You need to be a project manager or engineer with a who is experienced in managing manufacturing or NPD projects, ideally in the lighting or similar industries.
*
Enjoys working in a proactive role in a dynamic team environment.
