Trafford Housing Trust (THT) is an independent housing company providing more than 9,000 quality affordable homes within the Trafford area of Manchester. The Transformation Directorate is looking for a senior software developer to work as part of small team to development key software. THT wishes to improve and modernise its customer experience and also drive internal efficiency; it intends to do this by building centralised master data and warehouse services, a new customer portal working across any platform, accurate business intelligence tools, internal Intranet based applications and finally a team able to integrate key back office systems.

 

The successful candidate will need to be able to deliver software solutions, utilising skills in the full stack of development on Microsoft platforms. Strong skills in C#, SQL Server and web facing technologies is essential. Additionally, current Umbraco and Angular skills and experience are highly desirable. The successful candidate will also be capable of identifying and delivering mentoring to more junior colleagues. They will also contribute to the development of standards within the team. Ideally, the candidate will be a self-starter who is able to able to operate as part of a team or independently to deliver best of breed solutions that meet business needs.

 

It is expected that developers will be following industry best practice standards. As an organisation our aspiration is to join up our data and system to deliver digital services to both our customers and our internal teams. You will also need to have a good general understanding of ICT architecture and product design.
