We are now looking for a Quality Control Technician to join us in Tamworth and support the high-quality production of our digital artwork.

This is a superb opportunity for an individual with a strong grasp of graphic Mac applications to take on a fresh challenge with our global organisation. 

You’ll be a key player in the production of outstanding digital artwork, highlighting errors and inconsistencies and making sure everything is on brand and follows the brief.

Your Role 

As a Quality Control Technician, you will be tasked with ensuring that all digital artwork adheres to briefs and brand constraints. 

Specifically, you will check artwork and proofs against the brief and feedback any errors to the Production Team. 

Your role will also include: 

- Using various systems to monitor and record QC errors on jobs 
- Working to internal and reporting processes 
- Supporting the development of the QC process 
- Assisting in technical meetings with the Printer or clients 
- Performing technical and content checks 
- Supporting the Quality Manager with investigations for incidents 
- Mentoring new employees 

About You 

To be considered as a Quality Control Technician, you will need: 

- Good knowledge of the graphic Mac applications, ideally Illustrator or Acrobat 
- Excellent proofreading skills 
- A keen eye for detail 
- The ability to communicate well with your team - both in writing and verbally 
- Demonstrable abilities in multitasking and working in a fast-paced office setting 
- The ability to share skills and knowledge with others
