A leading manufacturer of bespoke aerospace systems are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer within their Mechanical Structures division.
The Role:
As a Quality Engineer - Mechanical Structures you'll ensure quality plans are implemented and translated into robust production process controls. You'll ensure QMS adherence to EN9100, EASA Part 145 and 21G and with customer approvals throughout the product development lifecycle. You'll also conduct First Article Inspections and ensure smooth transition of new products into production.
You:
To succeed int the role of Quality Engineer - Mechanical Structures you must have proven experience operating in EN9100, EN9110, TickIT Plus, EASA Part 145 or 21G environments. You must have an excellent understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action including 8D, DFMEA/PFMEA. You must also hold a Degree or Equivalent in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering and an understanding of Fabrication, Machining, Mechanical assemblies or Geometric Tolerancing.
