Our client, a fast growing national company is looking for an analytical, proactive and flexible Commercial Accountant/Business Analyst.
Reporting to the company's CFO, Sales Director and Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for setting up reporting systems, consolidation of data, analysis / review of latest data, continuous development for company KPI's, assist with implementation of new ERP system, ad hoc project work. This is a dual-purpose role working at the consolidated Retail level and within the Commercial and Regulation finance team.
You will have excellent knowledge of core financial systems, general accounting procedures and an awareness of current regulations including IFRS / New UK GAAP and Companies Acts would be an advantage. You will be able to work well in a team and alone and will thrive on delivering high quality work to tight deadlines. You will work well in a changing environment and have the ability to produce new reports and associated financial controls to suit an evolving business. You will be QBE or qualified and have a passion for understanding the business. In addition you will have a thorough understanding of financial accounting, possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
