Major Recruitment have a number of temporary, full time vacancies for Community & Environmental Support Advisors to work within a local council
Hours of work
* Mon - Fri
* 37 hours per week
* The roles start on the 10th March and are for a minimum of 3 months
Role purpose:
* Working as part of a team to tackle anti-social behaviour and vandalism
Duties are varied and will include:
* Providing a visible on street presence and challenging anti social behaviour and vandalism
* Supporting publicity campaigns and attending relevant events and meetings
* Removing graffiti and taking down unlawful signage
* Removing litter and fly tipping
* On street maintenance to repair vandalism
* Producing accurate reports and witness statements where necessary
* Developing and maintaining relationships with other council services, voluntary organisations and external agencies to achieve the aim of the service
* Driving council vans
Skills required:
* This role requires a Standard DBS Check ( A transferable DBS registered to the update service is acceptable)
* Ability to work with minimum supervision and be able to organise and prioritise allocated tasks
* Experience of working within a public environment
* Competent IT skills
* Driving Licence is essential for this role
