MECHANIC & MOT TESTER
Mechanic & MOT Tester required for our automotive client based in Aberdeen
Basic Salary: up to GBP31,000pa
??Are you an MOT Tester looking for a great earning opportunity?
??Do you want to work NO weekends?
??Do you have experience working in a large independent garage as a MOT Tester?
We are looking for a MOT Tester who can be varied in their role as duties will include general vehicle service, repair work and MOT Testing to VOSA Standards, working to agreed time scales and completing relevant vehicle records.
You will need to have a flexible approach as there may be some Vehicle Technician work needed when MOT Testing is quiet. Our client is seeking someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn whilst dealing with workloads. You will also be involved in helping to train and develop staff so being able to work as part of a team is crucial.
It is integral to our client that the right candidate has at least 4 years experience in the motor trade, making them both knowledgeable and reliable with the ability to find faults and fix them first time. In return for this you will have weekends off and earn a generous salary dependent on experience, as well as receiving 28 days holiday.
Working Hours: (40 hours pw) Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Over time is available
Skills & Qualifications for a MOT Tester role:
??Class 4 Valid MOT Licence
??Ability to work as part of a team
??A commitment to delivering first-class customer service
??Previous experience as an MOT Tester would be advantageous but not essential.
