Manufacturing Assistant

Our client in Winchester is one of the UK's leading ice cream makers! This family run business is one of the most impressive and engaging employers in Hampshire.

They are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to help them make ice cream!

You will:

* Ensure that all Dairy & Warehousing procedures are followed

* Report any Dairy or Warehousing issues to the Dairy Manager

* Receive goods in and store raw materials

* Advise Dairy Manager when stocks of raw materials are running low

* Rotate all stock of raw materials

* Ensure Warehouse areas are cleaned and sanitised to the standard specified

* Prepare packaging for production

* Move finished product from the freezer to the Cold Store in the minimum time possible

* Store products in the Cold Store

* Prepare and pack orders for delivery

* Leave storage areas tidy after the days work

* Turn off lights and lock up at the end of the day

* Help with van packing

* To help with other aspects of the production and storage of ice cream as required by the Dairy Manager

* Attend and contribute to weekly production meetings
