The Job
To create and lead property operational performance strategy (Hard and Soft FM) across the QinetiQ Group. Identify how we provide the optimum infrastructure & performance required for the business to deliver on their commitments. To identify and lead on performance improvement projects that ensure Group Property contributes to the overall QinetiQ strategy. Identify and strategically evaluate how to improve performance whilst achieving best value in-line with industry standards.
Job Responsibilities
You will strategically create and implement a performance improvement plan that complements, supports and enhances safety or legal compliance.
You will set and implement property operational targets that results in improved performance and ensures compliance against set targets.
You will lead the maintenance planning strategy and team to support all Group Property sites and the overall business priorities.
You will do day to day management of the Maintenance Planning and Asset teams
You will lead change management programmes for key operational improvement projects. This will include collaboration with the QinetiQ Procurement team to ensure that best value (time, cost and quality) is achieved.
You will be working with the Head of Group Property Operations to support the delivery of all financial commitments for Group Property against pre-determined targets of revenue, profit and cost.
The Fit.
You will need experience in leading large cost centres / budget responsibility, with a track record of solid delivery and sound business decisions
You need experience in a senior management role within a large complex organisation
You need experience in Procurement and delivery to contractual obligations (T&C's)
You need a track record in managing large teams across a complex geographical portfolio and dealing with conflict / poor performance.
You need experience in Facility Management and Construction to ensure FM Services are delivered in a safe and legal manner.
