About Us
Community Motors CIC provides award-winning vehicle services to the local community in Kingston. Formed in 2014 as a Community Interest Company, we also support our community by acting as a training platform for people to learn useful skills as well as providing clear, consistent vehicle advice and excellent garage services.
We’re now looking for a Motor Vehicle Technician to join our friendly team in Tolworth.

The Role
As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will perform a range of repair, servicing and diagnostic work on vehicles to dealer standards.
About You
To join us as a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will need:
- At least three years’ experience of servicing and repairing motor vehicles
- At a minimum, a Level 3 Maintenance and Repair qualification
- A full, valid driving licence
- The ability to work to main dealer standards
- Clear, confident communication skills
- A strong customer focus
Ideally, you’ll have experience as an MOT tester, but this is not essential.
Other companies may call this role Motor Vehicle Engineer, Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Repair Technician, Mechanic, Vehicle Mechanic, Car Mechanic or Vehicle Repair Engineer.
This is a full time role, working 8:00 - 17:00, Monday – Friday and 1 in every 3 Saturdays, 8:00 – 12:00.
As we train young people on-site, the successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS check.
