The golf course was opened in 1931, was designed by Sir Guy Campbell and has a superb history. Playing around the iconic 900 year old Castle, both the golf course and clubhouse have benefitted from major investment in recent years and now boasts some of the best facilities in the south.

The Role:

The successful applicant will need to manage and deliver a first class, day-to-day service required for our members and daily visitors. There is huge potential for developing the untapped market for coaching new and existing golfers on our bespoke practice facilities.

Working to budgets and targets set by the management, which are agreed with the professional, the person appointed will have the flair to retail golf equipment and maximise and benefit from green fee and other performance commissions. This role will suit a PGA Professional who is business minded, highly focused and entrepreneurial but can also work in a team environment. A good retainer plus additional benefits will be offered to the right candidate.
