Contracts Manager

The Role:
* Working on-site, you will be the first point of contact with sub-contract fitters and with the end customer, in respect of all day-to-day issues, including all materials and site progress.
* Working on contracts from start (planning) through to supply and fitting, ensuring work is completed on time and to budget.
* Working on several sites (South East area) with a number of contractors and sub-contract fitting teams.
* Monitor the progress of sub-contractors, planning critical dates and organising appropriate deliveries and labour, as well as sourcing, where necessary, additional teams of sub-contract fitters.
* Responsibility to agree additional and deviation to contract work, along with agreeing additional cost with the customer.
* Ultimately to deliver a successful project with a good end product that is both satisfying to the Contracts Manager, the company and most importantly the end customer.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience essential
* Good communication and reporting skills
* A good general knowledge of Health & Safety requirements for site contracting work
* A diplomatic approach, resulting in being able to manage and resolve any potential disputes
* Residing reasonably close to Ashford
* Full driving licence
* Kitchen industry knowledge / experience preferred
