Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. Over the past 44 years, Women’s Aid has been at the forefront of shaping and coordinating responses to domestic violence and abuse through practice, research and policy. We empower survivors by keeping their voices at the heart of our work, working with and for women and children by listening to them and responding to their needs.
You will be joining our fantastic Fundraising team who keeps the organisation surviving and thriving by bringing in funding from the smallest individual donor, a high profile corporate partner, or individual major donor. This role will be working with our Senior Partnerships Officer, responsible for the vital programme of identifying, researching and nurturing new prospects, specifically Trusts, Foundations, Corporates and Major Donors.
Through managing these relationships and drafting and submitting applications for unrestricted income, this role supports our important work with survivors and ensure that we can keep shaping change. Other responsibilities include support the running of fundraising events, and attending to build relationships and network, maintaining accurate records and monitoring and evaluating activity.
We’re looking for someone with great people skills, as well as drive, initiative and determination. You’ll have experience of fundraising, including researching prospects and developing relationships, as well as dealing with high value individuals. You’ll be diligent with the details, and able to work to tight timescales.
Location Bristol (with some travel required)
Salary £25,346 (pay scale point 29)
Length of contract 37 hours, permanent
