Our team helps our clients identify and reduce tax risks, meet compliance obligations, implement tax strategies that complement business and operational objectives, resolve disagreements with tax authorities, and manage tax accounting and reporting issues. You'll be engaged in projects dealing with International tax, mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax accounting, regulatory processes, tax reporting and strategy.ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to
Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
Train and lead staff
Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
Proactively working on a portfolio of clients, reporting to Senior Managers and above.
Establishing effective working relationships directly with clients.
Being proactively involved in the financial management of clients.
Contributing to the development of personal and team knowledge.
Keeping up-to-date with local and national business and economic issues that might potentially impact on clients and/or their industry.
You will be part of client-service and project teams. As such, managing both junior and more senior members of the team will be essential.
Relevant qualifications in CA; LLB ATII; CTA; or equivalent.
A commitment to continuing to enhance technical and other knowledge and skills;
Willingness to take on new and challenging work;
Risk awareness;
Excellent team playing skills and desire to work across lines of services (assurance, deals, consulting);
Good communication skills;
Self-motivation;
Good organisational and people skills.
