What will you be doing as Multi Skilled Technician - Ground Worker
As part of our property services team you will provide an effective and efficient service to deliver day-to-day repairs, voids, cyclical maintenance, planned works programmes and any other associated works. You will be Multi-skilled with core skill in Groundwork and competency in other trade disciplines. Services include, but are not restricted to, hard landscaping, brickwork, drainage, fencing, roof and gutter repairs, or concreting.
Other duties will be to:
* Supervise, develop and support Apprentices
* Maintain daily work records
* Transport equipment
* Maintenance and upkeep of equipment
* Health and Safety
As our properties are throughout West Yorkshire, you will need a full driving licence and be prepared to travel around the region as required.
What skills and experience will you need to be considered?
* Craft Apprentice or Time Served - City & Guilds/NVQ2 Bricklaying, Roofing or hard landscaping (without qualifications you must demonstrate equivalent skill levels)
* Extensive experience of ground works including hard landscaping, brickwork, drainage, fencing, roof and gutter repairs, concreting
* Experience of working in occupied properties carrying out repairs or refurbishment works
* Competent in Multi trade operations including wall tiling, plastering, decorating, stud work, plasterboard, flooring, joinery or plumbing
* Working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
* An understanding of the principles of good customer care
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8am - 5.00pm
Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends and be on call.
