Our client is looking for an Assistant Buyer to join their Trading team at their Headquarters to assist the Product Manager for Bird food, Bird care and Optics. This is an amazing opportunity to work for the largest wildlife conservation organisation in Europe. The charity strive to care for the environment and save nature. As a member of the Trading team you will be helping to raise significant funds through the sale of their products for the organisation and the wildlife it protects.

This role involves supporting the Product Manager to source and develop product ranges that assist in meeting the financial and strategic objectives of the Trading business. It is the ideal opportunity for a nature enthusiast looking to start a career in product buying/procurement.
As Assistant Buyer you will need to be organised, a strong team player, able to interpret data in order to influence decisions, have strong communication skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
The successful applicant will also be managing daily administrative tasks, and ensuring that Trading databases are maintained and kept up to date.
Some experience in retail product buying/procurement and negotiation is desirable, but not essential as there will be opportunities to learn whilst in the role.
