Project Coordinator
Salary: £25,709 depending on skills and experience
Golcar, Nr Huddersfield
Permanent, full time, office based
To manage the delivery of MVHR heat recovery ventilation system supply contracts, from major multiple house jobs, to individual self-build houses and to provide aftersales support.
The role involves both negotiating with contractors and individual house clients around the supply of the systems and supporting them and their installers to install the systems and run them, to ensure that they perform as per the design specification.
You will have site experience with a trade background (ideally electrical or plumbing), be computer literate and have some experience with managing jobs. Prior knowledge of MVHR is not required.
You will be supported by the Technical Manager and the Department Administrator. The Department Administrator will report to you. The MVHR Department Manager is the Design Manager, covering the sales, design and specification side of the department activities.
Green Building Store is a small specialist company with over 20 years’ experience of working on low energy homes and buildings, we combine technical expertise with outstanding personal service and aftercare.
We are nationally recognised for our expertise in designing, supplying and commissioning MVHR systems for Passivhaus and low energy projects. Our design service is qualitatively different to most other MVHR providers. As well as designing a system to physically fit in a building, we model the system in 3D software to check performance of the system in terms of noise, pressure, balance and airflows. We don’t install systems, but provide the systems in kit form, with installation instructions.
This innovative, ethical company has a friendly and creative working environment with a supportive team ethos, alongside an expectation of commitment and motivation. Our offices are located in peaceful rural surroundings with free parking, reasonable transport links and a strong cycling culture.
