Acting for a range of clients including commercial, higher education, charities and health clients, the successful solicitor will undertake a daily caseload consisting of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

Responsibilities

- Contentious and non-contentious matters
- TUPE
- Redundancy
- Tribunals
- Restrictive covenants
- Discrimination
- Disciplinaries and dismissals
- Grievance meetings
- Business development activities

The Candidate

- Applications are encouraged from solicitors with a minimum of two years' PQE
- Solid knowledge of all employment matters
- Educated to degree level and having obtained a 2:1 classification and strong A-Levels or equivalent
- Advocacy experience would be beneficial but not essential for the role
- Highly motivated, ambitious and well-organised
- A passion for business development initiatives
- Seek to develop and progress within a reputable department
