Full time (37 hours per week)

We own and manage a stock of circa 8000 homes, including blocks of flats, Housing for older people, plus 500 leasehold properties. We have a significant growth agenda, aiming to own and manage 9000 homes by 2020.

Your principal duties will be to undertake and deliver stock condition surveys, Landlord consent assessments / decision making, HHSRS assessments, Damp and condensation surveys, clerk of work functions on refurbishment projects and other relevant surveys to our existing and new build properties.

For this role, you will be qualified in an applicable construction related subject e.g. HNC, NVQ Level 3 or similar and have a good knowledge of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).  You will have excellent technical knowledge in domestic property construction, have strong people skills and excellent IT skills. Ideally, you will also have a clear understanding of the development process, both land led and Section 106 schemes.
