Women’s Wellness Zone, part of CGL an agency specializing in substance misuse. Our client and Women’s Wellness Zone are working in partnership to bring together their specialisms around Domestic Abuse and Substance Misuse in order to provide a holistic support package to women seeking support with both. Based in Ealing you will be running domestic abuse awareness groups and attending multi agency meetings to reduce risks.

Person specification:

  • Experience of providing advice and support to women experiencing domestic abuse.
  • Experience of providing casework support to vulnerable clients, including crisis management, and risk assessment.
  • Demonstrates awareness of safe practice when lone working.
  • Knowledge and experience of providing a co-ordinated service with statutory and voluntary services available for the client group.
  • Demonstrates ability to plan, prioritise and organise work load.
  • Ability to support clients effectively in crisis.
  • Demonstrates empathy, effective listening and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates an ability to provide information about rights, offer impartial advice and effectively advocate on behalf of clients.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately.
